Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to and use of SubGenie. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and authorized to manage every roster record you enter. Children may not create SubGenie accounts.
2. The service
SubGenie is a lineup-rotation and recordkeeping aid. It suggests and records Active/Sub assignments and displays game and season statistics.
SubGenie does not replace a coach’s judgment. You remain solely responsible for lineups, substitutions, supervision, player eligibility, health and safety decisions, and compliance with league or organizational rules.
3. Accounts
Your account is individual and may not be shared with another coach or user. Keep your credentials confidential and notify support@subgenie.app if you believe the account has been compromised.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping its email address accurate.
4. Roster information
Enter only a player display name and optional jersey number. Do not place contact, birthdate, school, medical, injury, location, demographic, parent, or other sensitive details in a name or number field.
You represent that you have a lawful and appropriate basis to enter and manage the roster information you provide.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, probe security, upload malicious code, automate abusive requests, violate another person’s rights, or use SubGenie for an unlawful purpose.
6. Your information
You retain responsibility for the information you enter. You grant SubGenie the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, and display that information solely to operate and secure the service.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated into these Terms.
7. SubGenie property
SubGenie and its software, design, branding, and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service.
8. Subscriptions and billing
Season Access is an auto-renewable monthly subscription sold and billed by Apple. Eligible new subscribers may receive the introductory price shown at purchase for the stated period; the regular monthly price then applies.
The subscription renews automatically unless canceled through the App Store before renewal. Prices, taxes, eligibility, billing dates, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the app store account used for purchase.
Deleting a SubGenie account or deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Restore Purchases can reconnect an eligible store purchase to the app.
9. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every error will be corrected.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using SubGenie or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, security risk, unlawful conduct, or conduct that threatens the service or another person.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SubGenie is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SubGenie and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or decisions made using the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for SubGenie during the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any permitted court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction and venue in New Mexico.
14. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance when permitted by law. Material changes will receive additional notice when required.
15. Contact
